The Management team of Laud Collier Capital has over 100 collective years of owning, financing, advising, building and operating middle market businesses. This experience spans all aspects of a company or investment life cycle.
Colby W. Collier
Mr. Collier has more than 30 years of experience investing, operating, and advising small and middle market companies. He founded Laud Collier, and co-founded the private equity and venture capital group at The CIT Group, including its SBIC subsidiary. Mr. Collier started his career at Manufacturers Hanover Commercial Corporation/CIT Business Credit Financing. Mr. Collier was a former director of numerous entities including Rutland Plastics, Inc., Dan-Loc, Tread Corporation, Oneida Molded Plastics, Sentry Alarm Systems of America, Inc., Rex International Inc., and FHP Holdings, Inc. He is a former President of the Northeast Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies (NERASBIC).
Mr. Collier is a graduate of Colgate University, where he received his B.A. in Economics, and completed the Tuck Executive Program of The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
